Choice Books
The library has many of the latest fiction and non-fiction titles. If you'd like to see what is available click here to search our catalog. You can also ask the librarian or your wonderful teachers for suggestions. In addition, we have access to the Commonwealth eBook Collaborative which has many great digital titles to borrow (includes audiobooks and eBooks). Please contact Ms. Kelly for registration information.

The Boston Public Library also offers a number of free audiobooks, eBooks, digital magazines, and video access to any resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. To get access, all you'll need is either a BPL eCard (register here for free) or a BPL library card.
Research
Your English Classes are some of the most research intensive in the school, but don't worry, the library has your back. The library offers many databases, web-guides, and other materials to help make your next project or paper a breeze.
Pathfinders
Some of the projects we do in English class can be confusing. Pathfinders are a collection of resources that your librarian has found for you in advance. You can use the resources listed on the Pathfinder to help locate information that will support your argument or topic. There aren't pathfinders for every project, but if you'd like one, simply ask Miss Kelly.
Citation and Bibliographies
Once you've collected lots of interesting information to include in your presentation or paper you're going to have to give credit where credit is due. This is usually in the form of a bibliography or works cited page. It can be a little confusing to do at first, there are many rules, but know that you can check out Purdue OWL, use your EasyBib Edu account, or ask your teacher/your librarian for extra help.
